The Center for Health Quality, Outcomes and Economic Research (CHQOER) is one of the 14 Centers of Excellence within the Veterans Administration Health Services Research and Development Service (HSR&D), under the VA Office of Research and Development (ORD). 

CHQOER Investigators bring expertise and innovation balanced by sound clinical judgment and pragmatic assessment of needs and resources. The result is research that informs policy and drives the implementation of patient-centered, effective and efficient health care.

CHQOER is home to Coordinating Centers for the eHealth QUERI and the HIV/Hepatitis QUERI, and the Bedford Node of the National Center on Homelessness among Veterans.
